Emily Carter
Managing Editor, Education, School Calendars & Family Planning
Emily Carter is the Managing Editor for education, school calendars and family planning at Fresh Calendars News. Emily leads coverage of school-year start and end dates, school breaks, teacher workdays, snow days and make-up days, and alternative calendar models such as year-round schooling. Emily's stories name the district, region and academic year they cover, are checked against official district and school-board calendars, and report education research with its date, scope and limits so families can see what a study does and does not show.
