Palm Beach County School Calendar 2026-27: Thanksgiving Week Off, Winter Break and a May 27 Last Day

Students in the School District of Palm Beach County get the full week of Thanksgiving off, Nov. 23-27, 2026, and a winter break that runs from Dec. 21 to Jan. 1, according to the 2026-27 calendar the School Board approved on April 15, 2026. The school year, which began Aug. 10, ends for students on Thursday, May 27, 2027.

Neighboring counties

Palm Beach County shares its Thanksgiving week, winter break and spring break with Broward County, whose last day is Friday, May 28. Miami-Dade starts and ends later, finishing on June 3. Compare the Broward County school calendar and the Miami-Dade school calendar. Spring break overlaps the Ultra Music Festival on March 26-28, so expect busy roads toward Miami that weekend.
