A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving 2026: Free on Apple TV Nov. 14-15, Subscribers Any Day

Apple TV Press says A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving will “stream for free Saturday, November 14 to Sunday, November 15,” 2026, according to its Sept. 24 release “There’s no place like Apple TV for the holidays.” The special is part of a three-special run, and the table below plus the free printable viewing calendar on this page list every free day.

Peanuts holiday specials 2026: the free-streaming calendar

Apple’s summary line says the three specials “will stream for free on October 17-18, November 14-15 and December 12-13, respectively.” The weekdays below are computed from those dates. The last column is what Apple’s release says about each special.

Special	Free days on Apple TV	Status on Nov. 7, 2026	What the release says
It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown	Sat., Oct. 17 to Sun., Oct. 18	Past	Streamed free on those days
A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving	Sat., Nov. 14 to Sun., Nov. 15	Upcoming, 7 days away	“Stream for free Saturday, November 14 to Sunday, November 15.”
A Charlie Brown Christmas	Sat., Dec. 12 to Sun., Dec. 13	Upcoming	“Stream for free Saturday, December 12 to Sunday, December 13.”

Outside those days the programming is for subscribers. Apple’s release says it is “available to subscribers now and every day.”

Can you watch A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving on Thanksgiving Day?

Thanksgiving 2026 falls on Thursday, Nov. 26 (see when is Thanksgiving). The free window closes 11 days earlier, on Sunday, Nov. 15, and opens 12 days before the holiday. Because Apple says the special is available to subscribers every day, anyone with an Apple TV subscription can still play it on Nov. 26. Apple lists the service at $14.99 per month after a free 7-day trial for new subscribers.

Two stories on this site cover the rest of the day: the Thanksgiving 2026 TV schedule for the parade and football, and the Apple TV November 2026 release dates.

Do you need a subscription or an account for the free days?

MacRumors (Joe Rossignol, Sept. 24, 2026) and MacTrast (Chris Hauk, Nov. 2026) both report that the free window needs no subscription and runs in the Apple TV app. MacTrast lists the app on iPhone, iPad, Mac, smart TVs, Fire TV and Roku. These are news reports, not Apple’s own words. Apple’s release does not say whether an Apple Account sign-in is needed, and it does not give the hours when each free window starts or ends. Check the Apple TV app on Nov. 14.

Is there a broadcast airing in 2026?

No Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) airing of A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving has been announced for 2026. The only free route in Apple’s release is the Apple TV window of Nov. 14-15.

What else is new on Apple TV that weekend?

Apple’s release also lists a new special, “Snoopy Presents: 12 Days of Snoopy,” premiering Friday, Nov. 13 on Apple TV. It is for subscribers; the release does not make it free. The next free Peanuts window is A Charlie Brown Christmas on Dec. 12-13, which sits in the December 2026 printable calendar next to the rest of the month.

Print the viewing calendar, mark Nov. 14-15 on the November 2026 printable calendar and check the app on Nov. 14.
