Checked Oct. 26, 2026. The 2026 closure details and a Transport for London (TfL) notice are not yet out; we will update this story when they are.

The Lord Mayor’s Show 2026 sets off from Mansion House at 11 a.m. Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) on Saturday, Nov. 14, according to the Lord Mayor’s Show website, which says the Show “will fill most of the City of London.” That is 6 a.m. Eastern Time (ET) and 3 a.m. Pacific Time (PT) in the United States, by our calculation.

This story gives the day as a timeline, the 2025 road closure pattern, and a one-page planner you can print.

What time does the Lord Mayor’s Show start?

The procession starts at 11 a.m. London time, the Lord Mayor’s Show website says. The City of London Corporation’s Oct. 21, 2026 news release says it will set off “from the Mayoral residence,” which is Mansion House.

The Lord Mayor, though, begins earlier on the river. The City of London Corporation says he will leave Westminster at 8.30 a.m. aboard the Royal Shallop “Jubilant,” then disembark at His Majesty’s Ship (HMS) President and join the procession through the Square Mile.

The Royal Navy will provide the Guard of Honour and parade the King’s Colour on the King’s 78th birthday, the City of London Corporation says. Nov. 14 is the King’s birthday.

The Eastern Time column is our calculation. Clocks have changed on both sides of the Atlantic by Nov. 14, which puts London five hours ahead of New York.

The 11:27 a.m. line is our estimate and not an official arrival time. The procession page says participants “take 26 minutes and 51 seconds to march from Mansion House to the Royal Courts.” Adding that to an 11 a.m. start gives about 11:27 a.m. for the front of the procession. The full 2026 running order was not shown on that page when we checked.

Who becomes Lord Mayor on Nov. 13?

Alderman Bronek Masojada will be the 698th Lord Mayor of London, according to the Lord Mayor’s Show website. The City of London Corporation reported on Sept. 29, 2026 that he was elected. The website says he will take office in the Silent Ceremony on Friday, Nov. 13, the day before the Show.

Which roads close for the Lord Mayor’s Show?

The 2026 closure details are not yet published. The Show’s closures page still shows 2025 guidance, which said most roads in the City of London would be completely closed from about 7 a.m. on the day, and that most roads would reopen around 4 p.m.

Treat those times as last year’s pattern. We expect the 2026 closure details and the TfL notice closer to the day, and will update this story then.

Where can you watch, and is it on TV?

The Show fills most of the City of London, so a viewing spot depends on the final route and closures. The Lord Mayor’s Show website had not published the full 2026 running order when we checked. A television or streaming time for 2026 was not announced in what we read; check British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) listings closer to the day.

How does the Show fit with other UK dates?

The Show falls nine days after Bonfire Night, covered in our Bonfire Night 2026 story, and six days after Remembrance Sunday on Nov. 8, explained in our Remembrance Day 2026 story. The next UK bank holiday dates are in our UK Christmas bank holidays story, and the 2026 UK holiday list and When is Boxing Day in the UK pages show the full year.

Put Nov. 13 and 14 on the November 2026 printable calendar. The one-page day planner for this story uses the times above and marks which are 2025 patterns.
