Quordle #1746 from Merriam-Webster is the puzzle for Thursday, Nov. 5, 2026. Two of its four words repeat a letter, and the clues below go board by board. Clues for each board

Top left board

• Letters: five letters, two of them vowels, no repeated letter; it ends in a vowel.
• Meaning: to give off a bright light, or to polish something until it gleams.

Top right board

• Letters: five letters with two vowels, and one consonant that appears twice, once at each end.
• Meaning: a deck of illustrated cards used for fortune-telling.

Bottom left board

• Letters: five letters with one vowel that appears twice, in the second and last spots; two consonants sit between them.
• Meaning: the edge of something, or the grassy strip beside a road.

Bottom right board

• Letters: five letters with a single vowel and a Y at the end; no repeated letter.
• Meaning: tall and thin, with a loose, awkward build.

Raise is the only one of the four to land a green tile on every board. Audio spends a guess on three letters that appear somewhere in the set, yet lands no green tile at all. After the opener, work on the board with the most green tiles first.
