Botanical Garden Holiday Lights 2026: Dates, Hours and Prices at 5 Gardens

New York Botanical Garden (NYBG) and Atlanta Botanical Garden open their holiday displays on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2026, and Longwood Gardens, Denver Botanic Gardens and Brooklyn Botanic Garden open on Friday, Nov. 20, according to each garden’s own event page, checked Nov. 4, 2026. The table below sets the five side by side, in opening order, with the hours and prices each garden has posted. A one-page printable keeps the opening, closing and on-sale dates in one grid.

NYBG: a train show with evening hours, not a light trail

The Holiday Train Show runs Nov. 14, 2026 through Jan. 10, 2027, with a members-only preview on Nov. 13, according to NYBG. It is a daytime show in the Conservatory. On select dates the garden lists extended evenings, with the Conservatory open until 8 p.m. and last entry at 7:15 p.m.: Nov. 27, 28 and 29; Dec. 5, 11, 12, 18, 19, 20, 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30; and Jan. 2. NYBG’s page lists no regular hours, closed dates or prices. Members get complimentary admission, and member reservations are recommended but optional on non-peak weekdays.

Atlanta, Longwood and Denver: what each page says

Atlanta Botanical Garden lists Garden Lights, Holiday Nights from Sat., Nov. 14 to Sun., Jan. 10, and its ticket link says “Get your timed tickets.” Members save $5 on every Garden Lights ticket. No hours or prices appear on the page.

Longwood Gardens lists A Longwood Christmas from Nov. 20, 2026 to Jan. 10, 2027. The event page gives 10 a.m.-11 p.m. daily and offers timed tickets and member reservations. Longwood’s general visiting hours elsewhere on its site differ from that line, so check the date you want on the ticket calendar before you go.

Denver’s Blossoms of Light runs Nov. 20 to Jan. 10, 4:30-9 p.m., and is closed Nov. 26 and Dec. 25. The page heading still reads “Blossoms of Light 2025” and the date line has no year, but the ticket line, public sale Monday, Nov. 9 at 10 a.m., matches 2026, when Nov. 9 is a Monday. Member presale runs Nov. 4 to Nov. 6, staggered by membership level. Prices vary by date and time and are based on anticipated demand, and children 2 and younger are free.

Brooklyn Lightscape prices by night type

Brooklyn Botanic Garden says the garden will close each day at 3:30 p.m. during the run, and the trail begins and ends at the Visitor Center on Washington Avenue. Prices include fees.

Children under 3 are free, and Anytime Entry is $59. Visitors select a visit date and then choose a 15-minute entry window. Brooklyn’s page does not post evening hours or an on-sale date.

Garden lights dates to mark on your calendar

The printable has one row per date: Denver’s Nov. 9 on-sale, NYBG’s Nov. 13 preview, the Nov. 14 and Nov. 20 openings, and the Jan. 3 and Jan. 10 closings, with a Done column. Add them to the November 2026 printable calendar and the December 2026 printable calendar.

Dates, hours and prices can change, so check each garden’s site before you buy tickets.
