Children in Need 2026: Appeal Night Is Friday, Nov. 13, With a Fundraising Countdown

British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) Children in Need’s website names Appeal Night 2026 as Friday, Nov. 13, which is 17 days after Oct. 27. The charity’s homepage lists “Everything that’s going on between now and Appeal Night on Friday 13th November!” The start time is not yet announced.

Some calendar sites list 20 November. The charity’s own site says 13 November, and that is the date we use. Nov. 13, 2026 is a Friday.

What is the Children in Need 2026 countdown?

This table counts from the day we checked the charity’s website. The day counts are our arithmetic.

Date	Days from Oct. 27	What happens	Source
Tue., Oct. 27	0	Homepage lists events and a fundraiser quiz for a 2026 Yellow Envelope challenge	BBC Children in Need website
Tue., Nov. 3	7	Coinstar fee-free paying-in window opens (the donate page lists 3 November to 15 December, without a year)	BBC Children in Need donate page
Fri., Nov. 13	17	Appeal Night	BBC Children in Need website

The homepage says “Take our fundraiser quiz to get your very own 2026 Yellow Envelope fundraising challenge!” The one-page Children in Need 2026 fundraising planner puts these dates and the ways to pay in on a checklist.

What time is Children in Need 2026 on TV?

The start time is not yet announced on an official page. Nation.Cymru reports a live broadcast on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on Friday, Nov. 13. We have not given a United Kingdom or United States time because there is nothing official to convert. We will add one when it is published.

Who is presenting the 2026 appeal show?

The Irish News, citing the PA news agency, reports that Alex Jones will present the 2026 appeal show for the first time, and that Rylan Clark also joins as a presenter. More presenters are to be announced, and the full line-up is not yet out.

How many appeals has Children in Need held, and what did 2025 raise?

In 2025, the charity’s press release dated Nov. 14, 2025 said the Appeal raised “an incredible £45.5m during the charity’s 45th Appeal show.” That show was on Friday, Nov. 14, 2025. By simple arithmetic, the 2026 show is the 46th. The 2025 total is last year’s figure and says nothing about 2026.
