Fortnite Chapter 7 End Event: Saturday, Dec. 5, 2026, Start Time Not Yet Announced

Epic Games says to keep Saturday, Dec. 5, 2026 open for the Fortnite Chapter 7 end event, but it has not announced a start time. In its Oct. 30, 2026 Treasure Hunters post, Epic wrote: “keep Saturday, December 5, open. Time is on your side… for now. Don’t miss an unforgettable Chapter 7 end event.” That is 29 days from Nov. 6. Below is the full list of Treasure Hunters dates, the Dec. 5 changes Epic confirmed in a separate Nov. 4 post, and what Epic has and has not said about the time and Chapter 8.

Fortnite Chapter 7 end event date and what Epic has confirmed

Epic has confirmed the day, Saturday, Dec. 5, 2026, in two separate posts. The Oct. 30 Treasure Hunters article asks players to keep Dec. 5 open for “an unforgettable Chapter 7 end event,” and the Nov. 4 article, titled “Big Changes to Fortnite Crew Launching December 5,” ties the same date to the end of the OG Pass “with a dramatic conclusion at the end of Chapter 1: OG Season X.”

What Epic has not posted: the start time, an event name or a Fortnite Chapter 8 release date. Shacknews reports that the Chapter 7 end event plays out once, live, with no replay, so the start time matters for anyone who wants to watch it in game.

Fortnite Treasure Hunters dates from Nov. 6 to Dec. 5, 2026

The Treasure Hunters season began Nov. 1, 2026 and brings a new captain and crew to Battle Royale each week, Epic says, led by the Straw Hats and A$AP Rocky, then Lil Uzi Vert, Cap’n Hatsune Miku and Kasane Teto. The table lists the dated Shop drops and in-game events still ahead as of Nov. 6, each from Epic’s Oct. 30 post. Times are not given for these except the A$AP Rocky drop.

Date	Weekday	Event	Source

Dec. 5	Saturday	Chapter 7 end event (start time not announced)	Epic: “keep Saturday, December 5, open”

Epic says Mastery Mondays and Treasure Hours Saturdays run throughout the season. The first Captain’s Day started with the season on Nov. 1 at 9 a.m. ET; the next four are the dates above. Luffy, Nami and Usopp came to the Shop at launch, and A$AP Rocky arrived Nov. 5 at 7 p.m. ET. Print the month with our November 2026 printable calendar.

What time was the A$AP Rocky Shop drop in each U.S. time zone?

The one Treasure Hunters drop Epic gave an hour for, A$AP Rocky on Nov. 5, was at 7 p.m. ET. Because the United States returned to standard time on Nov. 1, Eastern Time is five hours behind Coordinated Universal Time. The table converts 7 p.m. ET across the time zones.

Time zone	7 p.m. Eastern Time
Eastern Time (ET)	7 p.m.
Central Time (CT)	6 p.m.
Mountain Time (MT)	5 p.m.
Pacific Time (PT)	4 p.m.
Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)	Midnight, the next day

Epic’s last live event with a posted time, in June 2026, also began at 7 p.m. ET, and in 2025 the Chapter 6 finale “Zero Hour” ran at 2 p.m. ET on Nov. 29, per esports.gg and Beebom. Those are past events, labeled as such; none of them sets the Dec. 5, 2026 time.

What changes in Fortnite on Dec. 5, 2026

Epic’s Nov. 4, 2026 post, “Big Changes to Fortnite Crew Launching December 5,” lists four changes on the same day as the end event.

Epic says a previously subscribed player who resubscribes in that window gets a starting tier that reflects their most recent continuous subscription period over the past 12 months.

When is the Fortnite Chapter 8 release date?

Epic has not announced a Fortnite Chapter 8 release date. The Treasure Hunters post does not name the season’s end date, and no Epic page we read sets Chapter 8. Leaked dates circulate online, but leaks are not confirmed, so we do not print them. We will update this story when Epic posts the end event time or a Chapter 8 date.
