Black Friday 2026 Ad Tracker: Which Walmart, Target and Best Buy Deals Are Announced

Last checked Fri., Oct. 23, 2026, 3:05 p.m. ET. This is a living tracker. Target has published early deal dates; Walmart, Best Buy and most other chains have not yet confirmed 2026 Black Friday events. We update it as official ads land.

Black Friday 2026 is Friday, Nov. 27, and as of Oct. 23, Target is the only major retailer with dated Black Friday deals on the record. Target will run a Deal of the Day every day from Nov. 1 to Dec. 24 and Early Black Friday deals from Nov. 5 to 7, according to its Oct. 21 press release. Walmart and Best Buy have described their holiday plans but have not set Black Friday event dates, and no chain has released official Black Friday 2026 television or electronics prices. Below is a deals calendar, a status table for each retailer, what Walmart has and has not said, how to judge a deal, and a shopping-safety checklist from the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).

Walmart Black Friday 2026: what is confirmed

In its Oct. 7, 2026 announcement, Walmart confirmed that its stores will be closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas. It said Express Pickup orders can be ready in as little as one hour, a service now at 500 stores and expanding nationwide in time for Thanksgiving, with no pickup fee for Walmart+ members. The release did not include Black Friday event dates or prices.

For reference, last year Walmart announced its events on Oct. 27, 2025: an Event 1 on Nov. 14 to 16 (with Walmart+ early access starting the evening of Nov. 13), an Event 2 on Nov. 25 to 30 (online only Nov. 25 to 27, then online and in stores Nov. 28 to 30), and Cyber Monday deals online on Dec. 1. Walmart+ members got about five hours of early online access before each event. A 2026 announcement around late October would match that timing, but Walmart has not confirmed it, so treat the 2025 dates as last year’s only.

Target Black Friday 2026: the early deals

Target has given the clearest calendar. From Nov. 1 to Dec. 24, it will post a Deal of the Day, and it will run Early Black Friday deals from Nov. 5 to 7. The Oct. 21 release named starting prices on holiday gifts: cashmere from $25, pajamas from $10, decor from $5, faux fur throws for $30, and gift ideas at $5 and under or $20 or less. Target has not announced its Black Friday day-of event or a Cyber Monday plan for 2026.

Last year (2025), Target ran a Holiday Price Match Guarantee from Nov. 1 to Dec. 24 and extended its return window for electronics and entertainment bought in that period. Those 2025 policies have not been restated for 2026. Target’s standard policy matches a lower price at Target.com within 14 days of purchase.

Televisions and electronics: no official 2026 prices yet

Shoppers searching for Black Friday television and laptop deals should know that no retailer has published official 2026 Black Friday electronics prices. Best Buy said on Sept. 14 that its holiday savings start in October and run all season across gaming, computing and home theater, but it did not give a Black Friday start date or any prices. Any specific 2026 doorbuster figure circulating now is not from an official source. We will add prices here only when a retailer publishes them.

How to tell a Black Friday deal is real

• Check the price history. A number is only a deal against what the item recently sold for, not the sticker beside it.
• Read the price-match and price-adjustment window. Target matches a lower Target.com price within 14 days of purchase; last year it ran a longer holiday guarantee, which it has not yet restated for 2026.
• Check the return policy before you buy, including the deadline and who pays return shipping. The FTC notes that return and exchange policies vary by store.
• Pay with a credit card. The FTC points out that credit cards give you the right to dispute a charge if something goes wrong.

Shopping-safety checklist from the FTC

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) publishes holiday guidance every year. Its main points:

• Pay by credit card for the dispute rights it carries. A seller that will take only a gift card, wire transfer, payment app or cryptocurrency is probably running a scam, the FTC says.
• Check out an unfamiliar seller before you buy by searching its name and website address with words like “review,” “complaint” or “scam.”
• Know the return policy first: the window and who pays to ship a return.
• Keep receipts and original packaging. Without a receipt, the FTC says to expect store credit, often at the lowest sale price.
• If an online order is late, the FTC says the seller has to ship on time or give you the chance to get your money back.
