Strictly Come Dancing’s Halloween Week airs from 6.30pm Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) on Saturday 31 October 2026 on British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) One and BBC iPlayer, per the BBC Media Centre, and the results show brings the series’ first ever triple dance-off. For readers in the United States, 6.30pm GMT is 2:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) on that Saturday. The BBC page was published on 26 October 2026.

The BBC’s page gives no start time for the Sunday results show, so we give none. It says only that Strictly lights up “Saturday and Sunday nights this autumn”. The Halloween Week dates are in our one-page printable below.

What time is Strictly Halloween Week on Saturday 31 October?

The BBC says Strictly “returns to iPlayer and BBC One from 6.30pm on Saturday 31 October”. The UK went back to GMT on 25 October, as our UK and Europe clocks story explains. The United States stays on EDT until 1 November.

US East CoastFrom 2:30 p.m. EDT

The BBC calls the night an annual Halloween special in a “haunted ballroom”. It says judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke “join in with the terrifying transformations”. The same night is Halloween itself, so check our trick-or-treat times story if you plan to be out.

How does the first triple dance-off work?

The BBC says the Halloween Week 2026 results show “will feature Strictly’s first ever triple dance-off”. The steps, as the BBC describes them:

  1. The three couples with the lowest combined judges’ scores and public votes dance again.
  2. The judges vote on which one couple to eliminate from the series.

Earlier results shows in 2026 each ended with a dance-off between two couples, as the BBC page records. The BBC page does not say how a tied judges’ vote is settled in a three-couple dance-off, so we do not say.

Which Strictly 2026 dates are still to come?

The BBC lists the theme weeks as “some dates for your diary”, and gives Blackpool its own date. The weekdays are our calculation, and the day counts run from Friday 30 October 2026.

Of Blackpool, the BBC says it is “one of the most iconic milestones of the series” and that the date is 21 November. The Instant Dance challenge is also back after its debut in 2025.

Put the dates on a November 2026 printable calendar and a December 2026 printable calendar, or print the sheet below. The Halloween Week row on it carries the GMT and EDT times.

Who is still in the Halloween Week line-up?

The BBC lists 15 celebrities in the Class of 2026. Its Halloween Week song and dance list names 11 couples: Bethany and Nancy, Dani and Nikita, Delta and Kai, Jaime and Carlos, Lacey and Vito, Tabby and Mark, Cach and Maddie, Graeme and Lauren, John and Katya, Lawrence and Jowita, and Will and Dianne. The BBC says the list is confirmed across Strictly: It Takes Two, weeknights from 6.30pm on iPlayer and BBC Two.

Four couples have left so far, according to the BBC’s results record:

Results showCouple who left
Movie Week (first results show)Chris Appleton and Amy Dowden
Week 3Melanie Walters and Aljaž Škorjanec
Icons WeekDame Sarah Storey and Julian Caillon
Week 5Shaun Wright-Phillips and Alexis Warr

The page marks its leaderboard as a spoiler. For Week 5, it puts Tabby and Mark first on 37, ahead of Delta and Kai on 34 and John and Katya on 32.

Who presents Strictly Come Dancing 2026?

The BBC says the series has three hosts “for the first time ever”: presenter Emma Willis, professional dancer Johannes Radebe and comedian Josh Widdicombe. The judging panel is Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke and Head Judge Shirley Ballas.

What did last year’s Strictly final draw?

In 2025, the BBC said 8.6m viewers tuned in to the Grand Final, where Karen Carney and her professional partner Carlos Gu lifted the Glitterball Trophy. That is last year’s figure and says nothing about 2026.

What is not yet announced?

As of the BBC page of 26 October 2026, not yet announced: the 2026 Grand Final date and the Sunday results show time for Halloween Week. We will not guess either. The BBC page is the only source for this story, so check it again for changes.
