Dancing with the Stars moves to Monday this week: “Disney Night” airs Monday, Nov. 2, 2026, from 8 to 10 p.m. Eastern Time (ET) on ABC, according to the Disney Entertainment press release of Oct. 29. TV Insider and USA Today report there is no episode on Tuesday, Nov. 3, Election Day, and TV Insider reports the Season 35 finale on Tuesday, Nov. 24. What time is Disney Night on Monday, Nov. 2?

The Disney Entertainment release lists “8:00-10:00 p.m. EST” on Monday, Nov. 2. USA Today, in a story updated Oct. 30, 2026, reports 8 p.m. ET and Pacific Time (PT), and 7 p.m. Central Time (CT). U.S. clocks fall back on Sunday, Nov. 1, so Monday’s 8 p.m. is Eastern Standard Time.

Disney says the remaining eight couples perform “showstopping performances inspired by beloved Disney stories and their iconic stage adaptations,” with Cynthia Erivo as guest judge. Why is there no Dancing with the Stars on Tuesday, Nov. 3?

TV Insider reports that ABC is covering the midterm elections, so no new episode airs in the usual Tuesday slot on Nov. 3. According to TV Insider, Alfonso Ribeiro announced the move on the live show of Oct. 27. USA Today reports the same move to Monday. When do regular Tuesday episodes return?

TV Insider reports that Tuesdays resume on Nov. 10 with Grammy Night. The Sept. 10 release for the two-night premiere listed 8:00 p.m. ET starts on Tuesday, Sept. 15 and Wednesday, Sept. 16, and ABC has not posted a time for Nov. 10 in the sources we checked, so treat the regular 8 p.m. ET slot as the usual one, not a confirmed start.

TV Insider also reports the Semifinals on Tuesday, Nov. 17, followed by the finale on Tuesday, Nov. 24. The finale’s start time and length are not yet announced by ABC.

How does voting work this season?

Disney Entertainment said at the premiere that fans vote during the live simulcast in the Eastern and Central time zones, and that live viewer votes are combined with the judges’ scores each night. Closer Weekly (Sept. 15, 2026) and HollywoodLife (Oct. 13, 2026) both report up to 10 votes per couple per method in each voting window, by texting the couple’s keyword to 21523 or online. Both outlets say online and text votes count.

When did last season end?

In 2025, the Season 34 finale aired Tuesday, Nov. 25, and Robert Irwin and Witney Carson won, according to TheWrap and Fox News Radio. This year’s reported finale, Nov. 24, falls one day earlier on the calendar.
