Best Buy’s holiday deals start Friday, Oct. 30, 2026, with the return of DoorBOOsters, the retailer said in its holiday calendar announcement on Oct. 27. Best Buy Corporate News says “Halloween marks the official start of holiday savings at Best Buy,” that new Doorbusters will drop every week and that shoppers get major savings events through December. Early Black Friday Deals and Doorbusters begin Nov. 6, and Cyber Week Deals run Dec. 1-6. Best Buy has not published doorbuster products or prices, so this story lists dates and rules only. When can I return what I buy?

Best Buy says “most purchases made Oct. 30 through Dec. 31 can be returned through Jan. 15, 2027, and Jan. 31, 2027 for Plus and Total members.” The announcement says “most,” so check the product page for exceptions.

What do double rewards and price match cover?

From Nov. 19 to Dec. 6, My Best Buy Plus and Total members earn double rewards on purchases. A footnote explains that 1 point per $1 equals 2% back in rewards, inclusive of the 1% members already get. Points post 2-3 weeks after purchase, and the offer is valid through Dec. 6, 2026.

Best Buy’s Holiday Price Match Guarantee says: “If the price of a product sold by Best Buy drops during the holiday season, we’ll match it.” It excludes Marketplace products.

Is Best Buy open on Thanksgiving and Black Friday?

Best Buy says stores will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 26, with deals continuing in the app and online. From Nov. 1 it offers extended store hours, and customers can find updated hours on their local store page. Best Buy did not give a Black Friday opening time in the announcement. Walmart announced Early Black Friday Deals Nov. 12-15 and Black Friday Deals Nov. 23-29 on Oct. 26, 2026, and Target set Early Black Friday deals for Nov. 5-7 with a Deal of the Day from Nov. 1 to Dec. 24, in its Oct. 21 release. Patrick McGinnis, chief revenue officer at Best Buy, said in the announcement: “Everyone does their holiday shopping a little differently. Some start in October and are done by Thanksgiving, and some don’t start until the last minute.”
