The FIFA Intercontinental Cup 2026 final is on Wednesday, Dec. 16, at Ahmad bin Ali Stadium in Al Rayyan, Qatar, where Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) meets the winners of the FIFA Challenger Cup, according to the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA). FIFA announced the last three matches on Oct. 22, 2026. Kickoff times are not yet announced.

FIFA’s Oct. 22 announcement gives three dates. The Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported the same fixtures and said Qatar hosts the last three matches for a third consecutive year.

The Aug. 26 date comes from FIFA’s preview of the Jeddah match, and the 1-0 and 2-1 results from FIFA’s Oct. 22 announcement. 442 Perfil and Primicias both name Palmeiras and Estudiantes de La Plata as the Libertadores finalists, and both place the Nov. 28 final at Estadio Centenario in Montevideo. Kickoff time for that match is not given here.

Who is Toluca in the Derby of the Americas?

Toluca is the Concacaf club in the Derby of the Americas. It reached the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (Concacaf) Champions Cup final in May 2026 by beating Los Angeles FC 5-2 on aggregate, per Concacaf. That was its sixth final. The Libertadores winner is the South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL) club that will face it on Dec. 9.

What time is the Intercontinental Cup final?

FIFA has not published a kickoff time. In 2025, the final was on Wed., Dec. 17 at Ahmad bin Ali Stadium and started at 8 p.m. local time (17:00 Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)), per Al Jazeera. PSG beat Flamengo on penalties after a 1-1 draw.
