What time is India vs New Zealand in ET, PT, GMT and IST?
The start times are New Zealand local time. New Zealand Daylight Time (NZDT) is Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) plus 13 hours from late September to early April, according to the New Zealand Government’s daylight saving page. U.S. clocks fell back at 2 a.m. today, so ET is UTC minus 5 hours and Pacific Time (PT) is UTC minus 8 hours. The 5th T20I started at 7 a.m. UTC, an hour after the ET change and two hours before the PT one, so Pacific clocks still read 12 a.m. The United Kingdom has been on GMT since Oct. 25. India is on IST, UTC plus 5 hours 30 minutes.
Those offsets shift the calendar date for North American readers. An ODI starting at 3 p.m. on a New Zealand Wednesday is 9 p.m. ET on the Tuesday. A Test starting at 11 a.m. on a Thursday begins at 5 p.m. ET on the Wednesday.
