Pre-order checklist

Apple’s pages and releases support these steps:

1. Pick your channel. Pre-orders open on apple.com/store and in the Apple Store app. Have the one you plan to use ready before 10:10 a.m. PT.
2. Check education pricing. The MacBook Pro is $100 lower, the iMac $50 to $100 lower and the iPad mini $50 lower with education savings, based on the starting prices above.
3. Decide on a trade-in. Apple says Apple Trade In credit is available for the MacBook Pro.
4. Compare payment options. Apple Upgrade leases the MacBook Pro from $38.99 per month for 36 months through Klarna, subject to credit approval.
5. Confirm the configuration. Memory options for the MacBook Pro are 16GB standard or up to 32GB, and the iMac comes in two chip configurations. Check your delivery estimate at checkout.

Pre-ordering does not change the date the product is available, which Apple lists as Friday, Nov. 6. For other dates that month, see the November 2026 printable calendar. Retailers are also lining up their holiday sales, which we track in our Black Friday 2026 ad tracker and the Amazon Black Friday 2026 sale dates. Our earlier Apple launch story is iPhone Duo availability.
