Solving tips

Show the solving tips

Clear the salon first; those tiles fit nowhere else once you picture a stylist’s price list. Then say each leftover tile out loud, one at a time.

Watch for the diamond terms. A jeweler would put four of today’s tiles on one card, and the puzzle scatters them across four colors.

A printable weekly calendar makes a simple score sheet for the week, and the November 2026 printable calendar holds the whole month.

Why the traps worked

Cut, Color, Clarity and Carat are the four Cs a jeweler uses to grade a diamond. The board splits them four ways: Cut is gym talk, Color is a salon service, Clarity helps you make sense of things, and Carat sounds like carrot.

Cut and Trim make another tempting pair, since both are haircut words, and Trim can also describe a lean build. Only Trim belongs to the salon, and only Cut belongs with the muscles. Charred sounds like chard once you say it, which is easy to miss when you read it as burnt.
