Sunday's puzzle is not live yet. The hint grid, two-letter list and answers for Oct. 25 go here as soon as The New York Times posts the new Spelling Bee overnight. Saturday's full solution is below.

Sunday’s Spelling Bee from The New York Times (NYT), for Oct. 25, 2026, goes live overnight, and we add its hint grid, two-letter list and pangram here as soon as it is live. Saturday’s puzzle used the center letter P with A, C, I, L, R and T, and its one pangram was Practical. It had 50 words worth 210 points, and Genius took 147. Every word below comes from the puzzle data on the Spelling Bee page.

How Spelling Bee works

You get seven letters in a honeycomb. Each word must be at least four letters long and must use the yellow center letter; letters can repeat. A four-letter word is worth 1 point and a longer word is worth one point per letter. A pangram uses all seven letters and earns 7 extra points. Ranks climb as you score, and Genius sits at 70% of the day’s total, which was 147 of 210 points on Saturday.

How to use the hint grid

The grid counts the answers by first letter and by length. Start with a row that has many short words, find those, then move to the longer columns. The two-letter list does the same job with more precision: “PA-14” means 14 answers begin with P and A.
