Thanksgiving Meal Deals 2026: Aldi, Lidl, Target and Sam's Club Prices, Servings and Sale Dates

Sam’s Club’s 2026 Member’s Mark Thanksgiving meal goes on sale today, Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2026: 11 items for about $160, serving up to 16 people, for less than $10 per person, in clubs and online, according to Sam’s Club. Three more deals are lined up. Aldi’s meal for 10 at under $39 is already on, Target’s $30 meal for six starts Sunday, Nov. 8, and Lidl’s $35.86 basket starts Wednesday, Nov. 11. Below: all four side by side, the dates each deal is live, and a printable calendar. For the holiday date itself, see when is Thanksgiving; it falls on Thursday, Nov. 26, 2026.

How do the four Thanksgiving meals compare?

Retailer	Price (before tax)	Feeds	Cost per person (our math)	On sale	Where	Conditions
Sam’s Club	About $160	Up to 16	About $10	From Oct. 28	In club and online	Sam’s Club members
Aldi	Under $39	10	Under $3.90	Oct. 14 to Nov. 25	In store, Aldi’s Thanksgiving page, DoorDash, Instacart, Uber Eats	No coupons, loyalty cards, minimum purchases or memberships
Lidl	$35.86	Up to 10	$3.59	Nov. 11 to Nov. 25	Not stated in the release	Lidl Plus members: deal runs Nov. 11 to 25
Target	$30	6	$5	Nov. 8 to Nov. 29	Target	Not valid in Alaska or Hawaii

Each price comes from the retailer’s own 2026 press release. The cost-per-person column is our division of the announced price by the number of people served. Aldi’s “under $39” is a ceiling, so its per-person figure is a ceiling too. Sam’s Club itself says “less than $10 per person.” Aldi notes that fees may apply on its delivery partners.

What is in each meal?

The items differ, so the per-person price is a guide and not a like-for-like comparison.

• Sam’s Club: 11 Member’s Mark items, including two 12-inch pumpkin pies. Sam’s Club said the meal can be prepared in about two hours. Members can add it to their cart with a single click.
• Aldi: a 16-lb. Farmer’s Choice whole turkey, three boxes of Chef’s Cupboard Stuffing Mix, 3 lbs. of sweet potatoes, L’oven Fresh Hawaiian Sweet Rolls, 12 oz. of cranberries, two bags of Season’s Choice Steamable Frozen Peas, baby peeled carrots and celery, Baker’s Corner Pumpkin Pie Mix with Bake House Creations Pie Crusts, and Friendly Farms Whole Milk and Heavy Whipping Cream. In stores, the items are marked with a turkey logo.
• Target: a Butterball Premium Whole Young Turkey of up to 10 lbs., a 3-lb. bag of Good & Gather Russet Potatoes, a 14-oz. can of Ocean Spray Jellied Cranberry Sauce, two 14.5-oz. cans of Del Monte French Style Green Beans, a 10.5-oz. can of Campbell’s Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup, 6 oz. of Good & Gather French Fried Onions, a 6-oz. box of Stove Top Stuffing Mix for Turkey, 12 oz. of Heinz Homestyle Turkey Gravy and two Favorite Day Take & Bake Baguettes. Target also lists Good & Gather turkey at 79 cents per pound.
• Lidl: a 14-lb. Shady Brook Farms frozen whole turkey is part of the basket for up to 10 people. Lidl said it will match the comparable total price of the basket at major national retailers, naming Walmart and Aldi.

When is each deal live?

Date	Day	What happens
Oct. 14	Wednesday	Aldi’s meal-for-10 prices begin
Oct. 26	Monday	Aldi cranberries available
Oct. 28	Wednesday	Sam’s Club meal on sale in clubs and online

Nov. 11	Wednesday	Lidl basket starts; Aldi pumpkin pie mix available
Nov. 25	Wednesday	Aldi and Lidl deals end
Nov. 26	Thursday	Thanksgiving

Aldi said the turkey, cranberries and pumpkin pie mix prices are effective until Nov. 25. Sam’s Club did not give an end date in its release. Because Aldi’s turkey arrives Nov. 4 and Lidl’s basket starts Nov. 11, a shopper planning a frozen bird should also check when to start thawing it; our turkey thawing guide has the dates.

Which stores are covered, and which have not announced?

Walmart has not announced a 2026 Thanksgiving meal price on corporate.walmart.com, and Kroger had not announced its 2026 meal on its investor site as of Oct. 28, 2026.

For context, here is what the two retailers said last year, labeled as 2025:

• In 2025, Target offered a Thanksgiving meal for four for “under $20,” according to its Nov. 5, 2025 release. The 2026 meal feeds six for $30, which Target describes as “maintaining last year’s $5-per-person value.”
• In 2025, Kroger’s “Freshgiving” meal was “a complete holiday dinner for ten at an industry-leading price of less than $4.75 per person,” with prices valid beginning Nov. 12, 2025, it said on Nov. 6, 2025.

Aldi also made a savings claim: over the last five years, its shoppers have saved an average of 26% on a classic Thanksgiving meal compared to the national average reported by the American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF). That is Aldi’s statement, not our finding.

Plan the shopping around the dates

Check the store’s own page before you go, since the retailers say prices are as announced and supply can differ by location.
