World Science Day 2026: Tuesday, Nov. 10, and the Science Diplomacy Theme

World Science Day for Peace and Development is Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2026. The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) says the day is “Celebrated every 10 November” and gives the 2026 theme as “Common ground through science diplomacy.” Below are the day’s four aims, our own classroom and home activity ideas for each, and a free one-page sheet (UNESCO’s page checked Nov. 6, 2026).

The date is Nov. 10 every year, so only the weekday changes. The weekdays are our calculation.
