Small Business Saturday 2026 Is Nov. 28: How to Find Participating Stores and Events

Small Business Saturday 2026 is Saturday, Nov. 28, according to the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), which asks shoppers to “#ShopSmall” that day. Local organizers post their own event pages, and we checked four of them on Oct. 30.

For the other dates that weekend, see our story on Thanksgiving weekend dates, including Cyber Monday. This story is about finding the shops and events.

Which Small Business Saturday 2026 events are listed?

Each organizer below posts its own 2026 page. Details are as the organizer lists them, checked Oct. 30, 2026.

Place	Organizer	What the page says
Rutland, Vermont	Downtown Rutland Partnership	Sat., Nov. 28, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. throughout the historic district, hub at 28 Center Street; events are free to attend, made possible by sponsorship
Moultrie, Georgia	City of Moultrie	Sat., Nov. 28, downtown shopping from 10 a.m. in Downtown Moultrie
Littleton, Colorado	Historic Downtown Littleton	Nov. 28 at 2516 Main St, Littleton, CO 80120; time not listed
New Oxford, Pennsylvania	New Oxford Area Chamber of Commerce	Sat., Nov. 28; businesses register by Fri., Nov. 20; time and venue not listed

Times that a page does not list are not confirmed, so check the organizer before you go.

How do you find participating businesses near you?

Start with the event page of your city, downtown association or chamber of commerce, as the four above do. Then confirm hours on the business’s own site before you travel, because a downtown event page may list the district’s hours rather than each shop’s. Call the shop first.

Is there a 2026 American Express Shop Small offer?

Not confirmed. The SBA says Small Business Saturday was founded by American Express in 2010 and officially cosponsored by the SBA since 2011. American Express’s Shop Small pages did not load for us on Oct. 30, 2026, so we do not confirm a 2026 card offer and do not repeat any 2025 offers.

How can a business take part?

The SBA page links to free Small Business Saturday marketing materials, including sample posters and social media resources, hosted by American Express. Businesses can also register with local organizers. In New Oxford, Pennsylvania, the chamber of commerce asks businesses to register by Fri., Nov. 20.

Where does Small Business Saturday fall in Thanksgiving week?

Thanksgiving is Thu., Nov. 26, Black Friday is Fri., Nov. 27, and Cyber Monday is Mon., Nov. 30. Mark the weekend on the November 2026 printable calendar or the printable weekly calendar.
