What is the 2026 Children’s Book Week theme?

The theme is “Books: Get Curious.” Publishers Weekly reported it on Feb. 10, 2026, in a story that also revealed the 2026 poster by Grace Lin. What is National Young Readers Week?

National Young Readers Week is a reading observance listed for the same week. One calendar listing gives Monday, Nov. 9 through Friday, Nov. 13, 2026, while another is reported to run Nov. 9-15. No organizer page was reachable, so the end date is not confirmed here. Sources also disagree on when it began and who sponsors it, so no origin year is given.
