National School Psychology Week 2026: Nov. 9-13, With the 'Inspire Connection' Theme

The National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) says National School Psychology Week 2026 runs Nov. 9-13, which is Monday to Friday, and gives the theme as “Inspire Connection.” On its National School Psychology Week (NSPW) page NASP writes that it “and schools across the United States will celebrate” the week. The page names no daily activities, so the plan below keeps to what it confirms.

National School Psychology Week 2026 dates and theme

NASP describes the theme this way: “Inspire Connection” highlights “how school psychologists build meaningful relationships that support students, strengthen collaboration, and transform school communities.” The South Carolina Association of School Psychologists (SCASP), a state group, lists the same week, “November 9-13, 2026,” and says the theme “celebrates the relationships they build with students, families and educators.”

The weekdays are our calendar check: Nov. 8, 2026, is a Sunday, so the week starts the next day.

How many days until National School Psychology Week?

From Sunday, Nov. 8, the week starts in 1 day. The table counts the days to each date and updates to the day you open the page.

Date	Day	What happens	Days from Nov. 8
Nov. 9	Monday	National School Psychology Week begins	1
Nov. 10	Tuesday	Week continues; NASP lists no daily activity	2
Nov. 11	Wednesday	Week continues; NASP lists no daily activity	3
Nov. 12	Thursday	Week continues; NASP lists no daily activity	4
Nov. 13	Friday	National School Psychology Week ends	5

Neither NASP nor SCASP says anything about school closures during the week. A staff member planning an event can check the printable school calendar and the November 2026 calendar against the district’s own list.

Which dates and themes are confirmed?

Two things come from NASP’s own page: the 2026 dates and the “Inspire Connection” theme. Some secondary sites show a different theme for 2026. NASP’s page does not mention them, so the theme here is NASP’s.

What the sources do not say:

• Daily prompts or conversation starters. NASP’s page lists none.
• A toolkit link. We did not find one on the pages we read.
• School closures during the week.

What is the 2027 week?

NASP lists two weeks on the same page: Nov. 9-13, 2026, and Nov. 1-5, 2027. For other school-year dates that fall in November, see our American Education Week daily themes. The November 2026 dates list puts the month’s other dates in one table.
