The calendar’s legend lists no early release days. After the last day, Friday, May 28 is a Post Planning Day, Memorial Day is Monday, May 31, and Juneteenth, June 19, 2027, falls on a Saturday.

Inclement weather days inside the DeKalb breaks

Four days inside breaks carry a second label. The calendar marks Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 23-24, 2026 as Inclement Weather Day 1 and Inclement Weather Day 2, and does the same for Monday and Tuesday, Apr. 5-6, 2027. All four sit inside the Thanksgiving and spring breaks, which are shown as no-school weeks.

The calendar does not say how those days would be used, so this story does not guess. If school is closed for weather, watch the district’s notices for what changes.
