NFL Week 17 Schedule 2026: New Year's Eve Game, Saturday Doubleheader and a Pick'em Sheet

The National Football League (NFL) lists 16 Week 17 games from Thursday, Dec. 31, 2026 to Monday, Jan. 4, 2027, with a New Year’s Eve opener and no team on bye. NFL.com is the source for every game below. Four matchups still have no date or time, and two of them will play Saturday, Jan. 2, so the one-page pick’em sheet leaves a blank kickoff line for each. Times are Eastern Time (ET).

Which NFL games are scheduled for Week 17 in 2026?

Week 17 follows Week 16 and the earlier Week 15 games. NFL.com lists these dates and times, all ET, and the four games at the bottom have none yet.

NFL.com lists 16 games, so all 32 teams play and no team has a bye. Week 18 follows on Saturday, Jan. 9, and Sunday, Jan. 10, 2027, according to the NFL’s 2026 schedule release of May 14, 2026.

Is there an NFL game on New Year’s Eve 2026?

Yes. Ravens at Bengals kicks off Thursday, Dec. 31, at 8:15 p.m. ET on Prime Video, per NFL.com. It is the only Thursday game NFL.com lists so far; two of the four undated games play Saturday, Jan. 2.

What NFL games are on Saturday, Jan. 2, 2027?

Two, but NFL.com has not said which. Its Week 17 page says: “In Week 17, two of the four designated matchups will be played on Saturday at 4:30 PM ET on NBC and 8:00 PM ET on Peacock, with the remainder to be played either on Thursday night (8:15 PM ET), Sunday afternoon (1:00 PM ET and 4:25 PM ET), Sunday night (8:20 PM ET), or Monday night (8:15 PM ET).” Saturday is Jan. 2, 2027. NBC Insider describes the 4:30 p.m. ET slot as the “NFL Holiday Special” on NBC and Peacock and the 8 p.m. ET slot as a “Peacock NFL Exclusive.”

The Saturday matchups are not yet announced; NFL.com says only that the dates and start times of the designated games “will be determined and announced at a later date.”

Saturday, Jan. 2, 2027	Kickoff (ET)	TV
First designated game	4:30 p.m.	NBC and Peacock
Second designated game	8:00 p.m.	Peacock

Which four NFL Week 17 games still have no date?

The four designated matchups are Broncos at Patriots, Chiefs at Chargers, Rams at Buccaneers and Commanders at Jaguars. Two play Saturday. The other two land in one of the slots NFL.com names: Thursday night, Sunday afternoon, Sunday night or Monday night. Because a Monday slot is among them, Texans at Packers may not be the only game that night. NFL.com lists no network for any of the four, so write the date and time in by hand on the sheet once the league announces them.

Can the Week 17 Sunday and Monday night games change?

Yes. The league’s 2026 Flexible Scheduling Procedures say Sunday Night Football flex decisions for Weeks 14 to 17 “will generally be made no later than 6 days prior to the game.” For Sunday, Jan. 3, that means by Monday, Dec. 28, 2026 (our count). Monday Night Football flex may be used in Weeks 12 to 17 and is announced “no later than 12 days in advance,” which puts the Jan. 4 deadline at Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2026 (our count). The procedures add, on games still to be determined (TBD): “Only Sunday afternoon games (or those listed as TBD) are eligible to be moved to Sunday night.” Treat Eagles at 49ers and Texans at Packers as still possible to change until those dates, and check NFL.com before you plan around the kickoffs.

How do you use the NFL Week 17 pick’em sheet?

The one-page sheet lists all 16 games in kickoff order with the network, a blank for your pick and a blank for the final score. The four undated games sit at the bottom with a “Date/time TBD” line to fill in once the league announces them, and the note at the foot of the sheet gives the Saturday slots and the two flex deadlines. The tiebreaker is total points in Monday’s Texans at Packers game. The first pick is due before 8:15 p.m. ET on Thursday, Dec. 31, when Ravens at Bengals kicks off.
