U.S. Figure Skating Championships 2027: Jan. 5-10 in Utah, Schedule and How to Watch

The 2027 U.S. Figure Skating Championships run Tuesday, Jan. 5 to Sunday, Jan. 10, 2027 in Utah, with practices and competition at the Maverik Center, according to U.S. Figure Skating. NBC Sports lists NBC, Peacock and NBCSN for live coverage on Jan. 4-10. The event-by-event schedule and start times are not yet announced.

U.S. Figure Skating’s own watch schedule lists the event in “Salt Lake City, Utah”. Its March 19, 2026 release says the championships “return to Utah for the first time since 1999” and are “held in partnership with the Utah Sports Commission”.

For a sense of the shape, the 2026 championships in St. Louis had junior and novice events on Jan. 5-6 at a separate rink and the championship events on Jan. 7-10 at Enterprise Center, per a U.S. Figure Skating release of Jan. 2, 2026. That release put the women’s free skate on Friday, Jan. 9, 2026, and the final group of the free dance and the men’s free skate on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2026. That was 2026; the 2027 order has not been posted.

What time will it be in Utah, and what time on the East Coast?

No start time is posted yet. Utah is in the Mountain Time (MT) zone, which is 2 hours behind Eastern Time (ET) in January. A session at 7 p.m. MT, for example, would be 9 p.m. ET. That is an illustration of the conversion, not a scheduled time. NBC Sports says its times are Eastern.

How to watch the 2027 U.S. Figure Skating Championships

NBC Sports’ release of Sept. 17, 2026 says “On Jan. 4-10, NBC Sports presents live coverage of the 2027 Prevagen U.S. Figure Skating Championships,” and its table lists NBC, Peacock and NBCSN. The headline of that release says Peacock streams every event live. Which sessions air on which channel is not yet announced. For comparison, the 2026 championships were televised on USA and NBC, per U.S. Figure Skating; USA Network is not on NBC’s 2027 list.

The International Skating Union (ISU) says the 2027 World Championships are in Tampere, Finland, from March 17 to 21, 2027. U.S. Figure Skating’s watch schedule lists Four Continents for Feb. 11-14, 2027 in Astana and the 2027 U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships in Henderson, Nevada, Feb. 22-27, 2027. How the U.S. teams for those events will be chosen is not stated in the sources we checked.
