Tesco’s Christmas meal deal has been on sale since Monday 12 October 2026 at £3.85 with a Clubcard, and Aldi’s Christmas sandwiches began on Wednesday 14 October from £1.99, according to Retail Times, Grocery Gazette and BritBrief. Neither chain has a newsroom page we could use, so each fact below rests on two newsrooms that agree. Greggs, which publishes its own list, and Costa both started on Thursday 22 October. Chains with only one report are in a separate table, with nothing printed for 2026.

Which Christmas sandwiches are confirmed for 2026?

The prices are as the newsrooms state them. Greggs and Costa gave none.

What does Tesco’s 2026 Christmas meal deal cost?

Retail Times reported on 5 October 2026 that the deal “is available in stores and online from the 12 October” and costs “£3.85 with a Clubcard (£4.25 without)”. Grocery Gazette wrote the next day that the range “will be stocked from 12 October” and gave the same £3.85 Clubcard price. Only Retail Times gives the £4.25 price without a Clubcard.

Both name the new Tesco Fully Loaded Chicken, Stuffing, Braised Red Cabbage & Cranberry Sauce Sandwich. Both also give the Premium Meal Deal as from £5.50 with a Clubcard (£6 without). Retail Times alone lists three more festive items: a Christmas Triple Sandwich, a Finest Turkey Pastrami Panettone Style Roll and a Finest Honey Roasted Gammon Ham & Barber’s Cheddar Sandwich. When do Aldi’s Christmas sandwiches arrive in 2026?

Not all on one day. Grocery Gazette (9 October 2026) said the range is “available from 14 October”, and BritBrief (8 October) wrote that it is “hitting shelves on October 14”. Both then give later dates for three items.

Grocery Gazette described the falafel wrap as “a new meat-free option”; neither report is used here for any other dietary claim. The bloomer date is worded “on 26 November” by Grocery Gazette and “Launching on November 26” by BritBrief.

The Tesco figure is a meal deal and the Aldi figure is one sandwich, so the two are not a like-for-like comparison. Aldi’s confirmed sandwiches and wraps span £1.99 to £2.79, a gap of 80p.

What are Greggs and Costa selling from 22 October?

Greggs says its menu is “in shop from 22nd October 2026”. Two of the items on its 2026 list are a Festive Feast Baguette and a Pigs Under Blankets Toastie. It gives no prices.

Retail Times (20 October 2026) and What’s The Jam agree that Costa’s menu launches “in stores across the UK & Ireland from 22 October 2026, while stocks last”. The sandwich-type items are a Festive Feast Toastie and a Festive Flatbread, both new, and a Pigs & Blankets Toastie and a Brie, Bacon & Cranberry Panini, both returning.
