London New Year's Eve Fireworks 2026: Tickets, Prices, Gate Times and Travel

London’s New Year’s Eve fireworks on Thursday 31 December 2026 have tickets priced from £20 to £55, with entry from 8:00pm to 10:30pm, according to the Mayor of London’s press release of 16 October 2026 and the London City Hall event page. What do London New Year’s Eve fireworks tickets cost in 2026?

The Mayor of London said ticket prices for Londoners “remain at £20 and £35 depending on the viewing area,” and that non-residents pay £40 and £55. London City Hall’s event page says prices vary between £20 and £55 and have stayed the same as last year.

Which gate goes with which viewing area?

Each coloured area has its own gate on London City Hall’s New Year’s Eve entry page, on either the north or the south bank of the River Thames.

When do tickets go on sale and when do the gates open?

The first tickets went on sale at midday on Friday 23 October, the Mayor’s press release said. The event page lists a second batch but gives no date: it says to keep checking the page for the exact release date.

What is known about transport on New Year’s Eve?

Transport for London (TfL) has not yet announced its 2026-27 plans. Last year, TfL’s newsroom said on 2 December 2025 that services would run all night on New Year’s Eve, and that some stations might be closed at short notice or at busy times to prevent overcrowding. Treat that as last year’s arrangement until TfL publishes this year’s.
